FAQs

Why is Renovo cheaper?

By eliminating the army of people and technology necessary to generate, process,
appeal and settle medical insurance claims. This is why we call it direct pay
specialty care. Caregivers and payers connect directly, minimizing the insurance
bureaucracy that drives 20-40% of your typical health care costs.

Do you serve people with insurance?

Yes. Many of Renovo’s patients are covered by traditional insurance plans. Either
your employer has a “direct” payment agreement with Renovo or is contracted with
a benefits consultant that works with Renovo to maximize value for their
employees.

Are staff fully trained?

Yes. Our center is nationally certified by AAAHC and our staff are trained to the
same standards as any legacy health system. All our nurses have up to date AHA
advanced life support training and all our physicians are board certified. Same
standards of care, a fraction of the price.

What kinds of payment do you accept?

All standard forms of payment are accepted: cash, check, debit/credit card. Most
of our patients have zero out of pocket costs based on their employer’s payment
agreement.

What happens if I have a complication?
  • Immediate, life-threatening complications are addressed by Renovo staff under the
leadership of our physicians and in accordance with national protocols. Emergency
transportation to the most appropriate local emergency department would be
necessary if your needs exceeded the capabilities of Renovo’s facility and/or staff.
  • Other less serious or immediate complications are addressed on a case-by-case
basis to ensure the best outcome for our patients.
Which Health System is Renovo Affiliated With?

Renovo is a completely independent center. We are free to work with any and all
health systems, clinics, and individual practices. It is our pleasure to be able to
care for all kinds of people from all kinds of places.
